Grand Ram Navami Shobha Yatra Brings Devotional Fervor to Khagaria
City resonates with chants of Jai Shri Ram as thousands participate in festive procession

Khagaria, April 6: On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the city of Khagaria witnessed a magnificent Shobha Yatra that brought together thousands of devotees in a grand celebration of faith and tradition. Starting from the historic Ji Thakurbari on Main Road, the procession traveled through major city streets, turning the entire cityscape into a vibrant spectacle of devotion and unity.

 

A major attraction of the Shobha Yatra was the mesmerizing tableau presentations of Lord Ram, Lakshman, and Hanuman, performed by artists specially invited from outside the city. Their enactments drew widespread admiration and evoked strong emotions among the devotees. As the procession passed through the streets, residents showered petals and chanted “Jai Shri Ram,” creating an electrifying spiritual atmosphere.

 

Volunteers and local residents had set up stalls at various points along the route, distributing fruits, refreshments, and drinking water to the participants. The city was decked in saffron hues, with devotional songs echoing in every corner, making it a truly divine experience for all present.

Organizers Applauded for Seamless Execution
The success of this grand event was credited to the tireless efforts of the members of the Shri Ram Janki Shobha Yatra Committee. Key members including President Purushottam Kumar, Secretary Shanu Joshi, Treasurer Ankur Agrawal, and Vice President Amit Soni played vital roles in planning and execution. They were ably supported by Ankit Kumar, Akshay Kumar, Manish Pandey, Ashish Verma, Riki Shah, Golu fogla, Bheem Tulsyan, Tilak Verma, Rishi Kumar, Abhishek Kumar, Ayush Kumar, and many other committed volunteers and Ram bhakts.

The committee extended heartfelt gratitude to all participants and supporters, reaffirming their commitment to organizing more such spiritual events in the future to strengthen communal harmony and cultural values.
