Grand Ramdhuni Mahayagya in Khagaria draws massive crowd of devotees

The spiritual air of Labhgaon village in Khagaria turned electric on Sunday as thousands of devotees gathered at the Shri Shri 108 Bajrangbali Sthan for the inaugural ceremony of the Ramdhuni Mahayagya. The event was graced by Bihar BJP Vice President Sanjay Khandelia, who invoked the legacy of Lord Ram, calling Him not just a deity, but a symbol of India’s civilizational roots.
Addressing the sea of devotees, Khandelia said, “Maryada Purushottam Ram is the essence of our culture and values. He is not just a divine figure but a revered ancestor whose ideals of sacrifice, discipline, and harmony should guide our lives.” He emphasized the need for the younger generation to imbibe Lord Ram’s principles to build a more respectful and united society.
The Ramdhuni chants, echoing across the village, created an atmosphere of devotion as locals from nearby villages arrived in large numbers, transforming the event into a vibrant spiritual congregation.

The event saw the participation of several prominent figures including BJP OBC Morcha State Spokesperson Yogendra Singh, former Mukhia representative Rambalak Paswan, Mukhia representative Valmiki Paswan, Sarpanch representative Rudal Paswan, Mela President Ram Udit Babu, PACS Chairman Sudhir Prasad Singh, BJYM City President Santosh, Arvind Prasad Sah, Jitendra Dashrath Babu, and Kuldeep Mahant, among others.
Devotion meets tradition
The Mahayagya featured elaborate rituals, devotional hymns, and a serene environment that left attendees spiritually enriched. Local saints and volunteers ensured seamless arrangements for the large influx of pilgrims.
Speaking on behalf of the organizing committee, local saint Mahant Ranjan Das expressed gratitude and stated, “This event reflects the unity and faith of our community. With each passing year, we strive to make it more grand and inclusive.”

Beyond its religious fervor, the Ramdhuni Mahayagya sent a deeper message — one of returning to cultural roots and embracing the timeless teachings of Lord Ram. The event stood as a reminder that in a fast-paced world, reconnecting with heritage is not just relevant, but essential.
