Arambh 5.0 Sets Xavier Ablaze: Zoain Crowned Mr. Fresher, Sanjana Emerges Miss Fresher

Patna: Xavier University, Patna, lit up on Saturday evening as the much-awaited fresher’s extravaganza “Arambh 5.0” roared to life under the banner of Xavier Alumni Association. What unfolded was not just a party, but a spectacle of rhythm, glamour, and youthful fervor that etched itself into the memory of every first-year student.

The evening opened with a thumping band performance before the arrival of celebrity guest and renowned playback singer Rekha Jha, who electrified the stage with her iconic rendition of “Womaniya” from Gangs of Wasseypur. The audience erupted in applause, setting the tone for an evening of pulsating energy.

Chief guest Dr. Abhishek Singh, social reformer and motivator, urged the youth to channel their energy into positivity and social responsibility. Adding to the intellectual fervor, special guest Professor Joel, a mentor to thousands of students, inspired attendees with words of wisdom and career guidance. The august presence of Dr. Father Sherry George further lent gravitas to the evening, as he joined the dignitaries in felicitating winners and applauding young talent.

Dance numbers by second- and third-year students turned the hall into a thunderous carnival of cheers, while two power-packed ramp walks sent waves of adrenaline through the crowd. Games orchestrated by student organizer Maaz injected a playful zeal, while designers, groomers, and sponsors were duly honored for their contribution to the spectacle.

But the night’s crescendo was the announcement of the coveted fresher titles. Under gleaming spotlights, Zoain Samuel was crowned Mr. Fresher and Sanjana Lama (BAJMC) took home the Miss Fresher title, with the crowns presented by chief guest Dr. Abhishek Singh amidst roaring applause. Sub-titles were conferred by Rekha Jha, Prof. Joel, Ranjan Kumar (President), and Dr. Father Sherry George.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Jai Rathore, alongside Vice-Chancellor Dr. Martin Poras, volunteers, anchors, and the technical crew — Anmol, Utsav, Arpita, Utkarsh, Juveria Zafar, Anirudh Narayan, Yuvraj, Harshit, Dharam Raj, Naveli, Disha, Maaz, Prajwal, and Vikas, Bittu — whose dedication transformed the evening into a seamless celebration.

Arambh 5.0 was not merely a fresher’s party — it was a cultural thunderclap that showcased Xavier University’s exuberance, artistic legacy, and its ever-thriving spirit of excellence.
