Rangam Brings Theatre to the Classroom: Cultural Workshop Inspires Young Minds in Patna
Patna, Correspondent. In a bid to connect children with the power of theatre and culture, Rangam, Patna — a noted theatre group — organized a one-day cultural workshop at the Primary School in Vigrahpur, Phulwarisharif block, on Sunday. Themed “Theatre and Life,” the initiative aimed at instilling creativity, values, and cultural awareness among schoolchildren at an early age.
During the workshop, students were introduced to the fundamentals of stagecraft — from dialogue delivery and body language to storytelling and emotional expression. The interactive sessions not only encouraged artistic participation but also inspired students to view theatre as a medium of self-discovery and social understanding.

Leading the sessions, Rangam’s secretary Santosh Kumar, popularly known as Ras Raj, along with Hars Raj and Sahil Raj, guided the children through the nuances of performance. The school’s principal Ashok Kumar and teacher Firoz were also present, applauding the effort. “Such initiatives shape young minds beyond academics, nurturing confidence and character,” the principal remarked.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving both students and teachers resolved to integrate cultural and artistic activities into the everyday rhythm of school life.
