Yoga Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm in Patna: Over 100 Participants Join Ras-Rang Initiative
One-day yoga session at Manikchand Talab spreads message of fitness and holistic living

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a one-day yoga program was successfully organized by the socio-cultural organization Ras-Rang, Patna at Manikchand Talab, Anisabad. The event took place from 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM and witnessed enthusiastic participation from people across the locality.
The program was conducted under the (chairmanship) of the organization’s president Shivchandra Prasad Gupta. The inauguration was carried out by Mr. Pyarelal, former Vice Chairman of Nagar Panchayat (Naubatpur) and former member of the Patna Metropolitan Planning Committee, who lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the beginning of the event.

Several distinguished guests graced the occasion, including patron Thakur Ram Ashish Prasad, Nagendra Ji, Shyam Kishore Ji, Rajendra Prasad (Director, Himalaya Public School), Neeraj Dev (The Indian King Dance Studio), Secretary Raj Kapoor, Media In-charge Kadar Khan, along with social workers Pinki Devi, Soni Kumari, Sarita Devi, Alka Asthana, Sahil Sinha, Suraj Kumar, Dr. Shailendra Kumar, Aditya Raj, Shubham Kumar, Aman Kumar, Munna Kumar, Shiv Shankar Ji, and Sakaldev Ji.
Addressing the gathering, patron Thakur Ram Ashish Prasad encouraged children to remain aware of the importance of yoga in their daily lives. Secretary Raj Kapoor emphasized the message, “Do Yoga, Stay Healthy,” adding that fitness is key to achieving success in life.
The yoga session was conducted by President Shivchandra Prasad Gupta along with his associate Tanya Bharti. Students from nearby schools actively participated, including those from Himalaya Public School and The Indian King Dance Studio.
With more than 100 participants attending, the event concluded on a high note with a yoga-themed song presented by Shyam Kishore Ji, filling the atmosphere with positivity and energy.
